Meet the Team of Curators

Our team of curators is made up of managers, editors, course creators, and digital designers who love to make the magic happen. They are responsible for crafting newsletters, curating courses, responding to emails, coordinating events, and infusing all their work with prayer and grace.

Dr. Jeffrey Garner

Founder

Dr. Jeffrey Garner is a California native with 35+ years of experience in spiritual formation, including pastoring, counseling, educating, and discipling. Dr. Garner received his Doctorate at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, where his dissertation on the Beloved Disciple received accolades for producing "an original thought." His groundbreaking work on the Beloved Disciple and expertise in Johannine Literature, along with a personal call to belovedness, has led to the founding of Way of the Beloved. Dr. Jeffrey is gifted at drawing seekers and learners into the Belovedness of God and is a unique voice to follow in today’s complex, challenging world.

The Beloved Guild

The Beloved Guild is a diverse collective of writers who collaborate on projects including books, poetry, essays and articles. Each writer is professionally vetted and personally committed to the Way of Belovedness and its values. Writing under the shared pseudonym, The Beloved Disciple remains intentionally anonymous so that attention rests on the message not the messenger. Readers are encouraged to "test all things; hold fast to what is good" (I Thess. 5:21). We hope you enjoy publications to come by "The Beloved Disciple."
